This is a list of the bird species recorded in the British Virgin Islands. The avifauna of the British Virgin Islands included a total of 209 species, according to Bird Checklists of the World as of June 2023. [1] Of them, seven have been introduced by humans and 116 are rare or accidental. Three species have been extirpated.
