Hot Springs is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bath County, Virginia, United States. The population as of the 2020 Census was 524. [1] It is located about 5 miles (8 kilometers) southwest of Warm Springs on U.S. Route 220. Hot Springs has several historic resorts, for the springs helped develop Bath County.

Bath County is a United States county located in the Shenandoah Valley on the central western edge of the Commonwealth of Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 4,209, [1] making it the second-least populous county in Virginia. Bath's county seat is Warm Springs, [2] while the largest community is Hot Springs.
The district encompasses seven contributing buildings. The complex consists of the Main Barn with its attached tile double silos, a Bottling Building, Milking Barn, Calving Barn, Ham House, Herdsman's Cottage, and Bull Barn. The complex was built by the Virginia Hot Springs Company in 1928 to support the operations of the nearby Homestead resort.
It was built in 1898–1900, and is a 2 + 1 ⁄ 2-story, five-bay, double pile, Classical Revival style frame dwelling. It features a hipped roof with two hipped-roofed dormers on the north and south elevations and a temple front featuring a pedimented portico supported by Corinthian order columns.
Mustoe House is a historic home located near Hot Springs, Bath County, Virginia. The log structure was built in three sections in the early- to mid-19th century. They are a two-story front section, a 1 + 1 ⁄ 2-story log hyphen, and a separate 1 + 1 ⁄ 2-story log structure. It has a large exterior-end limestone chimney.
Warm Springs is a census-designated place (CDP) in and the county seat of Bath County, Virginia, United States. [1] The population as of the 2020 census was 121. [2] It lies along U.S. Route 220 near the center of the county. Warm Springs includes the historical mill town called Germantown. To the west lies West Warm Springs.
Bacova Junction is situated 74.2 miles (119.4 km) southeast of Harrisonburg, 2.9 miles (4.7 km) west of Hot Springs and 3.1 miles (5.0 km) north of Callison. Virginia State Route 615 and Virginia State Route 687 converge at the community. [2] The community lies at an altitude of 550 metres (1,800 ft). [3]
