Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology (Kannada: ಕಿದ್ವಾಯಿ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ ಗಂಥಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ) is a cancer care hospital in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is an autonomous institution of the Government of Karnataka [ 3 ] and a Regional Cancer Centre funded by the Government of India .
Dr. Gopinath founded the Bangalore Institute of Oncology where he is working as the Director and Consultant Surgical Oncologist. [1] He is known to have done extensive research on oncology with special emphasis on the surgery of head and neck, comparative study of laparoscopic and conventional surgical methods, cancer of the rectum and the impact of yoga on cancer.
