No 😃. Well Mee6 as a bot is a very good bot, mee6 as a company is very bad. You've summoned them, run. Mee6 is a maniacally stupid capitalist idea of making you use authority for your servers. Anarchy is better. Carl is way better.
Well, I still use Mee6 and I'm slowly weaning off. Like most people are saying, YAG bot is the best so far. I also finally started playing around with programming my own bot. I'm all for paying for a service if I need it. However most people who are ragging on Mee6 are people like myself who remember when Mee6 first made its debut.
MEE6 premium really is a premium service now. For the majority of server administrators, you can probably just fill the gaps with several free alternative bots instead. Just set them up once and you're good to go if its a small server with your friends.
Indeed, Mee6 has become a greedy platform. Starting off with (what I believe) was their NFT scam, now this. I personally banned it from my own small community server (which unfortunately I had to shut down due to severe inactivity and my incapability to support it) due to it being utterly useless.
I'm unsure if this will work, but have him create a throw away server, move Mee6 to that server, transfer ownership of the throwaway server to you, then leave server. It should transfer ownership to you and then you should be able to transfer the premium to your server. Or join Mee6's support server through their website.
Your Discord server > Server Settings > Integrations > MEE6/Personalised Bot. Click on /write, /imagine, /characters or /magic-avatars. Click on Add roles or members, click on everyone, then click Add. Click on next to everyone. Click on Save.
Here is a ranking of almost every bot I've used. This could be helpful if you want to know what bots to add to your server. Dyno- best bot I've ever used. I don't like MEE6 or Carl, but these are those but better. Even the reaction roles. And even better moderation too. It's fully customizable and I love that.
