Edmonds School District No. 15 [2] is the public school district of Edmonds, Washington, United States. It serves the entire city as well as the cities of Lynnwood , Mountlake Terrace , Woodway , and Brier along with parts of unincorporated Snohomish County .
The school was originally named Edmond High School because it was the only secondary school within the city limits. The first class graduated in 1922, and consisted of 24 students. [ 5 ] As Edmond grew, the school changed location several times, moving to its current location on 15th Street in the mid-1960s.
At the end of the 2006–2007 school year, the school campus was closed and everything was moved to the former Woodway Elementary campus. The Edmonds School District plans to demolish the old buildings at the Scriber Lake site and build a new district headquarters there, and remodel the former district headquarters for use as the new permanent site for the high school of choice (yet to be named).
