Champion is the fifth studio album from singer and drag queen RuPaul.It was released on February 24, 2009. The album is a mix of dance, electro pop, R&B, and hip-hop. The album failed to reach the Billboard 200, however, it managed to peak at number 12 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums as well as number 26 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.

The album contained RuPaul's signature song, "Supermodel (You Better Work)". The song reached number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a Top 5 single on the Hot Dance Club Play chart in 1993. Since then, RuPaul has released seven more studio albums, although none featured a single that charted as high as "Supermodel (You Better Work)".
The band is composed of singer Danny Stevens, drummer Ryan O'Connor, guitarists Seth Johnson and Timmy Klepek and bassist Joe Lussa. The band's first release was a six track EP titled All in Your Head. In early 2005, they signed to record label Victory Records and released their debut album, titled Controversy Loves Company.
Champion was announced on December 19, 2007, [11] and released on January 22, 2008. [12] " Warm Me Up" was released as the album's lead single around this time. [13] In January and February, the band headlined the PacTour, with support from Envy on the Coast, Danger Radio and Another Day Late. [14]

After the release of the hit single "Johnny Q", the band's album reached the "Top 20" on the Gavin Report. [5] The original Law and Order album [1984], is missing two tracks "Jump Rock" and I'm Ok Your'e Ok" wriitten by the bands then manager Joe Johnson aka JamminJoe/JamminJoe The True Smooth Saxophonist. The album was an instant classic.
