Honeoye (/ ˈ h ʌ n i ɔɪ / HUN-ee-oy) [5] is a hamlet in the Town of Richmond, in Ontario County, New York, United States. The population was 579 at the 2010 census, which lists the community as a census-designated place (CDP). [3] It is located 33 miles (53 kilometers) south of downtown Rochester. [6]
The eastern town line is partly defined by Honeoye Lake, the western town line by Hemlock Lake, and Canadice Lake is entirely within the town, both minor Finger Lakes. The southern and western town lines form part of the border of Livingston County. New York State Route 15A is a north–south highway in the town.
Honeoye Creek Wildlife Management Area – A conservation area in the northwest of the town. Honeoye Park – A hamlet on the east side of Honeoye Lake. Richmond Center – A hamlet north of Honeoye, near the center of the town on County Road 37. Richmond Mills – A location near Denison Corner in the northwestern part of the town.

Honeoye Falls (/ ˈ h ʌ n i ɔɪ / HUN-ee-oy) [2] is a village within the town of Mendon in Monroe County, New York, United States.The population was 2,706 at the 2020 census. The village includes a small waterfall on Honeoye Creek, which flows through the village and gives it its name.
