Majestic Princess is a British-registered Royal-class cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc. Built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri in Monfalcone and delivered in March 2017, she became the third Royal- class ship to debut in the fleet.
Cruise ports line the coast of Alaska, from Ketchikan in the south, dubbed "the salmon capital of the world," to more northern cities like Juneau, where glaciers and whale-watching abound.
It is the third ship in Princess fleet to carry this name after the last ship left in May 2011. The ship was officially handed over to Princess on 30 May 2013 and christened by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge on 13 June 2013. [16] On 28 August 2012, Princess announced that the sister ship to the new Royal Princess would be named Regal Princess.
