The original Deadlands was published by Great White Games under their Pinnacle Entertainment Group imprint in 1996, and spawned both a GURPS version (2001), and a d20 System version (2002). [ 3 ] In 2005, Great White Games released an updated version, Deadlands: Reloaded , published again under the company's Pinnacle Entertainment Group label.
Deadlands Reloaded, a version of the game using the Savage Worlds rules, was released in May 2006. In late 2005, Pinnacle entered into an agreement with WizKids to publish self-contained RPGs set in the worlds of Pirates of the Spanish Main , Rocketmen , and MageKnight using the Savage Worlds rules.
