Loyalist Collegiate and Vocational Institute (LCVI) is a secondary school (high school) located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.It is commonly referred to as simply "LC". The school is located at 153 Van Order Drive in the city's Calvin Park neighbourhood.
In 1853 the school moved to a new location (now Sydenham Public School) and was renamed Kingston County Grammar School. [6] It was renamed Kingston High School in 1871, becoming Kingston Collegiate Institute (KCI) in 1872. [6] Girls were first admitted as students in January 1877, and the school remained co-educational until its closure in 2020.
