Curry County is a county located in the U.S. state of New Mexico.As of the 2020 census, its population was 48,430. [1] Its county seat is Clovis. [2] The county is named in honor of George Curry, territorial governor of New Mexico from 1907 to 1910.
Founded in 1968, the organization is headquartered in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is the New Mexico chapter of the National Association of Counties. [2] As of 2014, the president of the New Mexico Association of Counties is Wendell Bostwick, a commissioner of Curry County. Its vice-president is Los Alamos County clerk Sharon Stover.
