J.C. Duffy is an American cartoonist. He currently creates "The Fusco Brothers" which has been syndicated since 1989. He created the comics "Go Figure", "Go Fish" (2002 to 2007) and "Lug Nuts". [1] He also writes and draws cartoons that appear in The New Yorker, Narrative Magazine [2] and other publications.
The Fusco Brothers is an American gag-a-day comic strip created by J. C. Duffy which features the four Fusco bachelors — Rölf, Lance, Al, and Lars — along with Lance's girlfriend, Gloria, and Axel, the Fuscos' wolverine. The strip has been nationally syndicated since 1989.
Fallen Angels is a team of fictional superhuman teenagers appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. [1] A spin-off of The New Mutants, the series starred Sunspot and Warlock along with the character Boom-Boom from X-Factor, along with several additional characters, many of whom were obscure Marvel figures.
A native of the New York City area, Duffy attended Wellesley College. As a young woman, she had letters published in Marvel Comics letter columns in the mid-1970s. [2] [3] She made an in-comic appearance as an autograph seeker in Iron Man #103 (Oct. 1977). Her first credit as editor appeared in The Defenders #61 cover dated July 1978. [4]
