Harrison Lake State Park is a 142-acre (57 ha) public recreation area located three miles (4.8 km) southwest of Fayette, Ohio, in the United States. [2] The park surrounds 95-acre (38 ha) Harrison Lake, which has a maximum depth of fifteen feet near the dam and provides a habitat for bluegill, channel catfish, largemouth bass, white crappie, and bullhead. [3]
Most of the trail runs along the banks of the Little Miami River, in a dedicated, car-free corridor known as Little Miami State Park. This unusually linear state park passes through four counties, with a right-of-way running about 50 miles (80 km) long and averaging 66 feet (20 m) in width [ 7 ] for a total of about 400 acres (160 ha).

Van Buren State Park is a public recreation area surrounding 45-acre (18 ha) Van Buren Lake in Hancock County, Ohio, in the United States. The state park covers 296 acres (120 ha) abutting the southern boundary of the village of Van Buren and offers fishing, boating, camping, hiking, and other recreational activities.
The site was developed as a castle in the early 1800s by land agent Lemuel Punderson, one of the area's first settlers. After summer cottages, a hotel and Tudor-style lodge were constructed, the Ohio Division of Wildlife purchased the land and lake in 1948, then transferred control to the Division of Parks and Recreation for development as a state park in 1951.
