All of us Claims supervisors have to apply for the AP Team Lead role if we are wanting it. Not a guarantee that we will get it. There is a lot involved with safety - accident files, accident reviews, spill stations. It would be nice if there were something definitive about the job description.
The AP Team Lead's role is to be a leader over the operational side of the AP business - receiving, claims, clearance, training, etc. If they're actually doing that part of the job, there's plenty to do. I personally wouldn't accept "I'm not comfortable" as a sufficient reason to not engage with claims and DSD (which are actually the same job now).
So here is my problem so far, if one of our team lead move to another job which is unlikely, I usually have swim practice every Sunday starting on January 8th starting at 3:30 do I have to tell them in the interview if there is a question saying what shift do you prefer and can I say that I prefer to open all the time from 6:00am -3:00pm on Sundays that I have swim practice and every other day ...
The literal job description for clean team lead basically says that we are supposed to supervise the maintainence team and ensure all tasks are completed. So whether or not your team lead cleans or stocks is really up to them and the coach.
Front end team lead base raises. Front end leads have sometimes more responsibilities than any other lead and get the base rate of, in my state, $18.00. We handle the money, take care of customers complaints, figure out what’s wrong with all the junk equipment we have, push carts, sweep floors, etc.
The first 3 are job impacting. You have to do a background check too. Most of my day is spent training associates on the floor or in the backroom and just following up with processes. We have already increased our adherence tremendously since taking over the area and all of my backroom team are receivers first and claims second.
I assisted my CAP 2 team leads in their duties, from doing claims and mislabels to printing out the freight details and the team lineup. I applied for the Digital team lead role back in mid-November and spent my free time from then until now studying the process guides one One Walmart for OPD associates, team leads, and coaches.
Depends. Essentially, a team lead is an hourly asm, therefore, they may be responsible for more than one area of the store at any given time. In a nhm at least, they're the ones running things and ops/SM just follow up.
Best advice I can give is, work right alongside them. That's leadership. My CAP 2 Lead/Support working right along with us always encourages me to work harder. If you're hanging out in the backroom all night doing jack shit, or hiding in the air-conditioned computer room, people will be less motivated to work hard for you. Also, don't be a hardass.
New team lead came in and I fell under her and she would fight the fact that I am seasonal and don't fall under GM mainly for the fact I was doing everything else except our job of working toys and crafts etc. I've done door duty and zoned fridges and the candy aisle and unloaded a truck and and and whilst my core work fell to the wayside.
