"Hell" is a single by American heavy metal band Disturbed from their compilation album, The Lost Children. [1] The song was originally released as a B-side on the single " Stricken " (2005). As a single in its own right, the song hit radio stations on October 11, 2011.
The song begins with a male choir and orchestral background music for a full minute before the band starts playing. "Planet Hell" also heavily features the vocals of the band's bass player Marko Hietala. After his departure from the band, the song's vocals have been taken over by their female vocalist Floor Jansen for live performances.
The album gained commercial success, with singles "The Hell Song" and "Still Waiting" mainly gaining success on the modern rock charts. The album has since sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide, but the album did not have as much success as the band's previous album " All Killer No Filler ".
