Jasmine, now emboldened, discovers a way to save her kingdom, as she turned Jafar into a walking staff using the magic powder, much to Jafar's shock. Then, she kisses Aladdin, thus freeing him from his genie curse, and causing the entire kingdom of Agrabah to re-materialize from the ring.
Aladdin tries to stop them, and ends up one of their own. Soon, only Genie and Iago are left, and they learn that a mystical gem which fell from a chest is the cause of this battle. Now Genie and Iago must prevent the gem from falling, or their friends—and the Riders of Ramond—are doomed to be locked in time forever. Absent: Jasmine

Iago steals the lamp from Aladdin and Jafar becomes the Genie's new master. Jafar uses his first two wishes to become Sultan and the world's most powerful sorcerer. Jafar assumes control of the palace (which is lifted off the ground and put on the main top of a mountain by Genie) and banishes Aladdin to a frozen wasteland.
Iago is the play's main antagonist, and Othello's standard-bearer. He is the husband of Emilia who is in turn the attendant of Othello's wife Desdemona. Iago hates Othello and devises a plan to destroy him by making him believe that Desdemona is having an affair with his lieutenant, Michael Cassio.
On the night of his return, after Jasmine and Aladdin have a fight over Aladdin keeping Iago's presence secret from her, the Genie convinces Iago to help him get the couple to reconcile. Later in the film, when Aladdin, Iago and the Sultan go on an outing without him, the Genie and Abu have a picnic for themselves but are confronted by Jafar.
