Warwick Fairfax (born December 1960) is an Australian businessman and consultant based in the United States. [1] He was well known in the 1990s as the media heir and business tycoon who privatised the publicly listed media company, John Fairfax Holdings Limited in 1987; only for the privatised company to fail three years later in spectacular fashion.
Warwick Fairfax is the eldest son from the third marriage of Warwick Oswald Fairfax to Mary, née Wein, later known as Lady Mary. Young Warwick, as he came to be known, graduated from Oxford University with an undergraduate degree in politics and economics and was awarded his MBA from Harvard Business School .
