Nancy Patricia Pelosi (/ p ə ˈ l oʊ s i / pə-LOH-see; née D'Alesandro; born March 26, 1940) is an American politician who was the 52nd speaker of the United States House of Representatives, serving from 2007 to 2011 and again from 2019 to 2023.
