Used to work at Walmart Pharmacy for nearly a decade in TX, IA, NE, and SD. Whoever the PIC is at the location will make or break the technician workflow and dynamics. Starting pay is above average and cap is in the mid-30s. The lead tech position is pretty cush. The locations with drive thru sucks balls.
I am sorry with what yall say but this position has my throw my hair out almost every day i am working. Assistant manager. If you’re one of the lucky 50 some stores in the company who has an associate back door, the easiest position is the phone operator. Hardest is probably GM support manager tbh.
At my store the shifts run 6a-3p, 2p-11p, 10p-7a. There are a few people sprinkled around who work midshifts and the students of course have shorter shifts. But when I applied I put open availability except for the two days I couldn’t work.

So far, I like the new transformation especially with the 2 instapays per week. I'm not worried about the actual paycheck being smaller (because of the 4 instapays you can take out per pay period).
