Designed as a private home for Alfred M. Coats and used as the Governor's Mansion by R. Livingston Beeckman, the building became the University's first Faculty Club in 1922. It was named in honor of President E. Benjamin Andrews to serve as Brown's infirmary and Health Services from 1939 to 2021.
