Moses Mncane Mbheki Mabhida (11 October 1923 – 8 March 1986) was a South African politician. Mabhida was leader of the South African Communist Party from 1978 until his death in 1986. [ 1 ]
The Moses Mabhida Stadium is a soccer stadium in Durban in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa, named after Moses Mabhida, a former general secretary of the South African Communist Party. A multi-use stadium, it became a venue for several events, like bungee jumping, concerts, cricket, soccer, golf practise, motorsports and rugby union. [1]

The Kings Park Sporting Precinct is home to the Moses Mabhida Stadium which opened in 2009 and is a venue for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, as well as a range of other sporting venues and facilities. North of the precinct is the Windsor Mashie Golf Course and the Durban Country Club.
