Deep in Southwest Virginia is Big Stone Gap, which also operates a Boardman. This is a 1989 Spartan/Boardman 1000/1000 with serial number F-2805. In 2005, the FD did a rehab on the truck to enclose the cab to a 4 door. This photograph was taken at a prison parking lot at the top of a mountain in Big Stone Gap.

The Nevada Department of Fish and Wildlife is loaning this 2006 Ford/S&S 250/300/20f Brush Unit to US Forestry while their front line apparatus is out of service for repairs. This is running from Clark County Volunteer Fire Department Mountain Springs station during brush season.

12-22-2007, 11:26 PM. At one time, the Post VFD of Fort Oglethorpe, GA operated from 11 stations in both Catoosa and Walker Counties and even covered portions of Tennessee. In the late 1980's, they purchased a large group of refurbished apparatus from Panama Fire Apparatus (Panama City, FL). Engine 5 was assigned this ALF Pioneer III 1250/550.
