Walton-on-the-Hill is a village in the Reigate and Banstead district, in the county of Surrey, England. It is midway between the market towns of Reigate and Epsom . The village is a dispersed cluster on the North Downs centred less than one mile inside of the M25 motorway .

St Mary's Church is in Walton (formerly Walton-on-the-Hill), Liverpool, Merseyside, England.It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Walton, the archdeaconry of Liverpool and the diocese of Liverpool. [1]
Walton windmill was described as "new-erected" in 1741. It was worked until 1906. [8] It is now a private residence. [9] Walton Hill, part of the Polden Hills, on which there are remains of ancient earthworks, rises south of the village. The hill is part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Nearby Walton-on-the-Hill remains a "pleasant Victorian village" with a church, chapel, village green and pond—and a manor house [15] [16] which has in its grounds a church and spiritual sanctuary belonging to the Kosmon movement. [17] Eight ancient parish churches survive in the district.
