Winthorpe is a small coastal village in the civil parish of Skegness, in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) north from Skegness. Winthorpe was both an ancient parish, and a civil parish, until 1 April 1926 when it was abolished.

The parishes of Skegness and Winthorpe were united in 1978; [269] its legal name is Skegness with Winthorpe. [271] The parish forms part of the Skegness Group, which includes the parishes of Ingoldmells and Addlethorpe. It is situated approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) north from Skegness, and directly west of Winthorpe. [1] The area was developed in 1925, with the development of the Seathorne Estate. [2] By 1931, the town's population had reached 9,122. [3]
