José María de la Concepción Apolinar Vargas Vila Bonilla (June 23, 1860 – May 23, 1933), commonly referred to as José María Vargas Vila, was a Colombian writer and public intellectual.
He started to publish his fictional work during the eighties and his work was included in several short stories anthologies released by Trilce in Montevideo: Cuentos de nunca acabar (1988), Cuentos para pluma y orquesta (1989) y Cuentos bajo sospecha (1989).
Santiago Alba Rico was born in Madrid in 1960, the son of journalist, producer, and screenwriter Lolo Rico, who was also the mother of writer Isabel Alba Rico []. [2] [3] He is also the great-grandson of politician Santiago Alba Bonifaz and the uncle of Nagua Alba.
