Anthony Davies (born 2 December 1969) [1] is a Welsh former professional snooker player, who competed on the professional circuit from 1991 to 2005. [ 2 ] Davies started playing snooker aged 12. [ 3 ]
Beca was a group of artists formed in the 1970s in Wales. The group was formed by Welsh artist Paul Davies (1947-93) and brought a new national consciousness to late 20th-century art in Wales. [1] Although Beca's importance in Welsh art is still widely unrecognised, it was the instigating movement in the politicalization of art in the country. [2]

The 56 Group Wales (Welsh: Grŵp 56 Cymru) is an artists' organisation founded in Wales in 1956, with the aim of promoting Welsh Modernist art and artists. [1] The name was originally simply the 56 Group: "Wales" was added in 1967, in response to a feeling that the organisation's "Welsh origins ought to be re-affirmed". [2]
