Check your other folders. The first thing place to check if you're missing mail is to check your other folders.
Sign in to your AOL account to access your email and other services.
Change any of the following settings, then click Save to finalize your selection: • Inbox Style Select what type of inbox you want. • Mail Away Message Create and enable away messages. • Contacts Choose how you want your Contacts displayed and sorted. • New Mail Select the sound you want played when new email arrives.

Go to AOL Mail.; Click on the search box and then click on Advanced.; Choose the section of your account you want to search. At the bottom click Search.
Delete a single email. Click on the conversation where the email is located. Click the More Icon | click Delete Message. Delete a full conversation. Locate the thread you want to delete. Click in the box to the left of the message. Click Delete at the top of your Inbox.
