51826 Kalpanachawla (provisional designation 2001 OB 34) is an Eoan asteroid in the outer region of the asteroid belt, approximately 7 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on 19 July 2001, by astronomers of the Near-Earth Asteroid Tracking program at Palomar Observatory in California, United States.
The article name is the asteroid's provisional name (e.g. (8619) 1981 EH1) - JPL Small Body Database search does not accept this. In this case, use {{JPL small body|id=2008619}} ). Tracking categories
2024 XA 1, formerly designated as C0WEPC5, is a small meteoroid that fell over eastern Siberia near the city of Olekminsk on 3 December 2024, 16:15 GMT, around 1,000 kilometers east of the Tunguska event impact location.
A minor-planet moon orbiting (357439) 2004 BL 86 was first detected by ground-based telescopes by Joe Pollock and Petr Pravec. [8] [17] Observations by the Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex and Green Bank Telescope confirmed that it is a binary asteroid with a secondary roughly 70 meters (200 ft) across. [5]
Nasa has issued an alert for a stadium-sized asteroid set to make a close approach to Earth on Tuesday.. The 2024 ON asteroid measures 290 metres (950 feet) across and will come within 1 million ...

2014 JO 25 belongs to the Apollo asteroids, which cross the orbit of Earth.Apollos are the largest group of near-Earth objects with nearly 10 thousand known members. It is also a potentially hazardous asteroid due to its sufficiently large size (an absolute magnitude brighter than 22), and its Earth-MOID (see below) of less than 0.05 AU.
On 3 September 2003 a NASA press release wrote, . Newly discovered asteroid 2003 QQ 47 has received considerable media attention over the last few days because it had a small chance of colliding with the Earth in the year 2014 and was rated a "1" on the Torino Impact Hazard Scale, which goes from 0 to 10.
