Green Lakes State Park has an 18-hole public golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1935. [10] The course was one of Trent Jones' earliest; ultimately, he was credited with designing about 500 courses. In lieu of payment for its design, he was given a ten-year lease for $1.00/year.
