The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC-class introduces a new generation and will be revealed online on June 1, 2022. The new compact luxury SUV looks similar to the current model but should include new features.
The GLC L shares the same engine range as the GLC. Three 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder options are available, with 184 PS (135 kW; 181 hp) in the GLC 200 L 4Matic, 211 PS (155 kW; 208 hp) in the GLC 250 L 4Matic, and 245 PS (180 kW; 242 hp) in the top GLC 300 L 4Matic.
The GLC300 will arrive first with a 258-hp turbo-four and a 48-volt hybrid system, and a plug-in-hybrid and AMG models will follow eventually.
The Mercedes-Benz GLS, formerly Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, is a full-size luxury crossover SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2006. In each of its generations it is a three-row, seven-passenger vehicle positioned above the GLE (formerly Mercedes-Benz M-Class before 2016). [4]
As part of Mercedes-Benz's new naming strategy, the GLE will define the SUV's positioning in the middle of its segment and between the future GLC and GLS (the former GLK and GL, respectively), the same way the E-Class is positioned in relation to the C and S-Classes.
