Women in American Film, MCA 331, explores an expansive range of women working in creative roles in the American film industry. The course is taught from the perspective of the filmmaker and focuses on the creative process: the filmmaker’s vision and story, how she/they created it, the business environment in which the film was created, legacies of respect among women working in film.
