The band celebrated their ten years in music in 2022 with the release of a fanzine titled Ten Years of the Vamps produced as a collaboration between band members and the fans and the 11-date 10 Years of the Vamps - The Greatest Hits Tour that travelled across the UK and Ireland in November and December 2022. "Can We Dance" is the debut single by British pop band the Vamps. It was released in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2013 as the lead single from their debut studio album Meet the Vamps (2014). The song debuted and peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, being kept off the top spot by OneRepublic's "Counting Stars".
Vamps, who were recording in Los Angeles, performed at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards Japan on June 22, coming straight from the airport. The video was directed by Emil Nava and shot in Malibu, California.The video is about a young girl (played by Laura Marano) who spends time with her friends in the summer until they are joined by The Vamps, and their group's lead singer (Bradley Simpson) falls in love with the girl.
The music video follows each of the Vamps finding a girl to make a lesbian girl band version of themselves. In order of appearance in the video; Tristan finds Jordan Gonzalez, Connor finds Porscia Eve, James finds Emma Maddock and Brad finds Jessica Digi.
