Times Square is a 1980 American drama film directed by Allan Moyle and starring Trini Alvarado and Robin Johnson as teenage runaways from opposite sides of the tracks and Tim Curry as a radio DJ. The film is set in New York City.

Robert Irving III (born October 27, 1953) is an American pianist, composer, arranger and music educator.. A native of Chicago, Irving was one of a group of young Chicago musicians that, in the late '70s and early '80s, formed the nucleus of Miles Davis' recording and touring bands.
Miles from India: A Celebration of the Music of Miles Davis is a compilation album by various artists released in April 2008 through Times Square Records. [1] Produced by Bob Belden, the album features songs associated with iconic trumpeter Miles Davis but performed in new arrangements by American jazz musicians and performers from India.
The name of this album also became the name of his band with whom he still plays. He released two more albums on the label, before signing with Times Square Records to release Everybody's Dancin' in 2003. [5] He has also appeared on the compilation album Creole Bred: A Tribute to Creole & Zydeco released in 2004 by Vanguard Records. [6]
In 2009, Masekela released the album Phola (meaning "to get well, to heal"), his second recording for 4 Quarters Entertainment/Times Square Records. It includes some songs he wrote in the 1980s but never completed, as well as a reinterpretation of "The Joke of Life (Brinca de Vivre)", which he recorded in the mid-1980s.
The club's original location near Times Square was at 200 West 48th Street on a trapezoidal lot between Broadway and Seventh Avenue. It opened as the Palais Royale in 1900, and Norman Bel Geddes had designed the interior. [3] [4] It was then occupied by the Cotton Club, which had left Harlem, from 1936 to 1940. [5]
