The University of New Mexico (UNM; Spanish: Universidad de Nuevo México) [6] is a public research university in Albuquerque, New Mexico.Founded in 1889 by the New Mexico Territorial Legislature, it is the state's second oldest university, a flagship university in the state, [7] [8] and the largest by enrollment, with 22,630 students in 2023.
Price was an editorial contributor to the New Mexico Independent (online publication) from 2008 to 2009. He was the series editor of the Mary Burritt Poetry Series at the University of New Mexico Press from 2004 to 2012. As an editor, he has brought the work of more than 500 New Mexican authors, poets, and scholars into print.

Zimmerman Library is the historic main library of the University of New Mexico, located near the center of the university campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico.It is one of the largest and most notable buildings designed by New Mexico architect John Gaw Meem [3] and is the centerpiece of the UNM Libraries, the largest library system in New Mexico with almost 4 million print volumes. Lobo Louie and Lobo Lucy are costumed wolf mascots, members of the UNM cheerleading squad, who rouse and entertain fans during Lobo athletic events. [ 1 ] "Lobo" is the Spanish word for "wolf" and was suggested as the school mascot in 1920 by George S. Bryan, editor of the school newspaper and student manager of the football team.
