Scott is located in eastern Burnett County, with Washburn County along the town's eastern border. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 34.2 square miles (88.5 km 2), of which 27.7 square miles (71.7 km 2) is land and 6.5 square miles (16.8 km 2), or 18.97%, is water.
