Tengku Amir Shah (Jawi: تڠكو أمير شاه; born 12 December 1990) is a member of the Selangor royal family who is the Raja Muda (Crown Prince) of Selangor and heir apparent to the Selangor throne.
The title Tengku Ampuan Selangor may be conferred to a spouse of the sultan, given that she is of a royal descent. The title Tengku Permaisuri Selangor can be conferred instead to the spouse that is not of royal descent. The regnal name of the consort of the sultan will be the title, followed by her given name.
According to the Laws of the Constitution of Selangor 1959, the consort of the Sultan that are not of royal blood may be given the title Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor if she fulfilled certain criteria. She must be legally wedded wife of the Sultan in accordance with Muslim religion, a Malay and professed the Muslim religion.

Tengku Sulaiman Shah was born on 1 Ramadhan 1369 Hijrah (the first day of the holy Islamic month of Ramadan), corresponding to 17 June 1950 of the Gregorian calendar at the Istana Raja Muda Selangor in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur which was the then-state capital of Selangor at that time.
