New Braunfels High School (commonly referred to as NBHS) is a public high school in New Braunfels, Texas, United States, that was established in 1845. In 2022, the school was given an overall rating of a B by the Texas Education Agency .
Due to 10% growth in the prior decade, the district issued a bond to open new school buildings, which were projected to open between 2021 and 2023. This also included the closure of the former New Braunfels High School Ninth Grade Center. [6] The new Ninth Grade Center is planned to become Long Creek High School. [7]
Canyon High School is zoned for students who live primarily in the southeastern Comal County area, [3] including portions of New Braunfels as well as Garden Ridge, [4] and portions of Schertz. Loop 337 is a 8.3-mile-long (13.4 km) partial loop route around the city of New Braunfels in the U.S. state of Texas. The loop was designated in 1960. Loop 337 begins and ends at I-35 and shares a concurrency with SH 46 from the interchange at SH 46 eastward to I-35.
