Wilbur Wright College, formerly known as Wright Junior College, [2] is a public community college in Chicago. Part of the City Colleges of Chicago system, it offers two-year associate's degrees , as well as occupational training in IT, manufacturing, medical, cyber tech, and business fields.
While on the faculty of Wright College in Chicago, she began developing a form of water pageantry that came to be known as synchronized swimming. She organized and trained the Kay Curtis Modern Mermaids, a swimming act of thirty girls who performed at the world's fair (Century of Progress International Exposition) in Chicago in 1933–1934.

The college is named after Wright Robinson, a long-serving Manchester city councillor. [2] The Executive Headteacher of the college is Mr M. E. Haworth and the Chair of Governors is Mrs C Shaw. The college was graded Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in both 2016 and 2021. Student outcomes at the college are significantly above national average.
