Codville Lagoon Marine Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located on the southwest end of King Island. The park was created in 1965 because it is a significant site to the Heiltsuk People. This park, which is approximately 755 ha. in area, has an unmaintained trail to Sagar Lake which has a red sand beach.

Williams Lake Indian Reserve, also called the Williams Lake First Nation or the Williams Lake Band Reservation and commonly referred to locally as the Sugarcane Reserve, aka Sugarcane or The Cane or SCB, [1] is an Indian reserve in British Columbia, Canada, located at the east end of Williams Lake and 12 km (~7 miles) east of the city of the same name, on the right bank of the San Jose River.
The Williams Lake Band has eight reserve landsites in British Columbia. The total area of Williams Lake First Nation reserve land is 1,927 ha. Indian Reserve lands of the Williams Lake Band are: [3] Asahal Lake Indian Reserve No. 2, at the head of Asahal Creek, 3 miles north of the east end of Williams Lake, 48.60 ha.
The next section of the river curves south from Sugar Lake to wind up running north again before entering Mabel Lake, which is a fair-sized mountain lake as typical of much of Interior British Columbia (e.g. Shuswap and Adams Lakes elsewhere in the same season, the original Arrow Lakes and Kootenay Lake).
