Micklethwaite (left) sits opposite Wetherby Town Centre (right) connected by Wetherby Bridge (centre). Micklethwaite had a public house, the Drover Inn which is now a private residence. With the advent of the railway, cattle were no longer driven over the bridge and the pub changed its name to the Spotted Ox.
Hallfield is situated close to Wetherby town centre, and backs onto the Horsefair Shopping Centre, providing easy access to local amenities. The area itself has a newsagent/ off-licence, a community centre, surgery, cemetery, playing fields, junior school, as well as being the location of Wetherby High School.

The former offices of the Wetherby Rural District Council, now used by Leeds City Council and Wetherby Town Council. Wetherby was a rural district in the West Riding of Yorkshire from 1894 to 1974. It was named after the town of Wetherby. It was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, and split between two new districts.
Wetherby is a civil parish in the metropolitan borough of the City of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The parish contains 33 listed buildings that are recorded in the National Heritage List for England.
