Greene County is located in the southwest part of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 census , its population was 298,915. [ 1 ] making it the fourth most-populous county in Missouri and the most populous outside the Kansas City or Saint Louis metropolitan areas.

The location of Turners in Missouri. Turners or Turner is a small unincorporated community located in Greene County, Missouri, United States. [1] It lies on the southeast side of the James River floodplain, approximately 3.5 miles east of U.S. Route 65 in east Springfield.
