  2. Black Tank Flush System - CrossRoads RV Family Forum

Regarding the black water flush system, it is a series of Jets inside your black water tank. I am fairly certain that it is not intended to fill your tank in order to flush it. I know mine would take a very long time to fill. I also know it works extremely well if I just leave the black water tank valve open and use the flush.

Remove outside flush connector, disconnect hose and verify the check valve is not stuck, very unlikely. Now for the real fix. Dump the black tank. Drop the front underbelly to expose the black tank. You will feel and then see the flush hose along the underbelly. Disconnect the hose connection from the black tank. Hope you dumped the black tank.

I recently purchased a 2020 Sunset Trail 285CK. Last weekend, when I attempted to utilize the tank flush system for the first time, I had a significant leak in the storage area. Some of the water made it to the tanks, but most of it leaked through the storage area and out the front underside of the camper.

However, the instructions that come with it say not to keep the inlet under pressure for more than 12 hours or the ball can get stuck. 12 hours of inlet pressure would surely overflow the black tank. Pressure from within the black tank can compress the ball into the seat. But, I don't know how the black tank would come under pressure.

I am having the same issue with our 2021 Volante 3851FL. With the water connected to the flush valve and turned on there is no water going into the black tanks. No spraying sound, not anything. Yesterday I removed the flush valve from the panel and the backflow preventer is working correctly.

The San-T Flush plumbingruns on top of your fabric belly liner, forming a low point for liquid to collect. The factory installed San-T Flush system in our 2010 Cruiser is connected to a threaded drain connection on the black water tank. So, liquid will settle in the hose that runs from your vacuum breaker / check valve to thedrain of your tank.

So, with my system if the flush hose broke in the belly area the black tank might drain black water into the belly unless there is a tiny plastic check valve in the spray nozzle as it enters the tank; let’s hope so. I looked up an installation guide for the San-T-Flush to learn that the nozzle is supposed to be installed within 2” of the ...

I have a 2013 32RL 5th Wheel. This past week was our fifth time out with the trailer and up until this past week I had never had a problem with the Sani-T-Flush system. Just hook up the hose to the outside hose connector, listen for flowing water and the tank sprayer spinning and then pull the black water valve and flush the tank.

Someone at the factory forgot to tighten the clamp. First time I use the San-T-Flush, the hose popped off inside the trailer wall and did a nice job of flooding the bathroom floor. My wife discovered the "flood" when she went inside the 5th wheel to check that the black tank was empty on the instrument panel.
