  2. Thoughts on Kirkland toilet paper? : r/Costco - Reddit

Kirkland received an F. Someday I'd like to see Hemp toilet paper, much softer, stronger, highly biodegradable, 27,000 old growth trees get flushed every day. Hemp ready in a few months. To be considered old growth, these forests are at least 120 years old. May contain trees that exceed 1,000 years of age; dominant trees typically exceed 300 ...

  3. Costco Toilet Paper Quality : r/Costco - Reddit

Like you, I have seen numerous posts venting about the quality of various Costco paper products. (I've recently noticed it in the non-Costco TP that I purchase, too.) I'm starting to suspect that the entire paper industry is making these types of changes to control input costs associated with the supply chain disruptions and inflation.

It is quite possible Kirkland is made by one of the other name brands they sell. I sold with an associate at the local Business Center, and I got the implication (wink/nod) that the paper towels are Bounty. In Canada it's definitely Cashmere. Often goes on sale for $5 off dropping it below the Kirkland tissue paper.

  5. Again? Report: Costco is running out of toilet paper : r/Costco -...

Report: Costco is running out of toilet paper. Archived post. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Costco warehouses are now on allocation at 80% of usual order size (for the mathematically challenged that means that we'll receive only 80 pallets of product for every 100 pallets ordered).

  6. Kirkland Toilet Paper Sample : r/Costco - Reddit

Seems like the Ultra Soft was updated relatively recently, it says “new” on the packaging and was posted on Costco's official Instagram page on November 26 month (though somebody posted it on r/Costco a few months ago). Instagram caption: “With improved softness and thickness, the new Kirkland Signature™ Ultra Soft Bath Tissue is now ...

  7. Has Kirkland toilet paper gotten thinner? : r/Costco - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Costco/comments/hsc0vs/has_kirkland_toilet_paper_gotten_thinner

It seems like last year, they made the TP rolls 2 mm more narrow, I had two packs of different size at the same time. This year, however, the change in their "2-ply" TP is very noticeable, it is so much thinner, more sheer. It is more like 1.5-ply (or 1.25-ply) than actual 2-ply.

  8. Anyone else think Sam's Club has better toilet paper? : r/Costco...

Yep, actually anytime I’m discussing Sam’s vs Costco with someone this is what I mention as the only plus side for Sam’s – their 2-ply is fantastic. I was surprised to find that Kirkland’s is so disappointing. 4. Award. Share. haz-q. • 5 yr. ago. Costco toilet paper DOES suck. Even Aldi’s private label is better.

That Kirkland TP is trash. They both say that the sheets are 4” x 4.5” so there should definitely be perforations. They probably switched manufacturers or just updated the packaging but it definitely should be perforated. I won’t buy Costco tp anymore. It falls apart and shreds into little pieces.

  10. Toilet paper quality got way worse? : r/Costco - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Costco/comments/wlpxw3/toilet_paper_quality_got_way_worse

Some trees grown in some areas produce a better toilet paper, some produce worse. The trait you want in toilet paper is called rugosity. It's the bumpiness of it. More bumpy makes better TP. But that also costs more, and has a higher density per square foot. During 2020-2022 there has been less production of pulp, especially in 2020-2021, and ...

Charmin Ultra Strong is the single ply product. Ultra Soft is 2-ply with softer fibers. Long Lasting is a thinner paper. assume you meant charmin ultra-soft. long-lasting is used for versions of both soft and strong. if near a business center, check online because they might have ultra strong in-store.
