Our experience using Park N Cruise - Port Canaveral. Just off the Freedom of the Seas and used Park N Cruise Port Canaveral for the first time. We have sailed many times from Port Canaveral and have parked at the pier as well as used the Radisson. Park N Cruise is relatively new and their rates were good so we figured we wold give them a try.
The ParkNCruise facility is different now after the hurricane. The nice shelter area is gone and has not been replaced. They squeeze in as many vehicles as they need meaning some vehicles may be blocked in for a while at the end of the cruise. Park Port Canaveral has moved to their new facility with plenty of parking (next to the Radisson).
We’ve used Park N Cruise as well as the Radisson and both are OK, but we prefer Park N Cruise. Park n Cruise was a little less hectic than the Raddison. Park N Cruise is “on our way “ rather than back tracking to the Radisson, then heading back out to 528 again. M. Edited August 23, 2012 by cruisegirl1
Well your medium might be my splurge, but Hilton has several properties (Homewood suites, Hampton Inn, Home 2 Suites, etc.) very close to the port that, at least pre-virus, offered stay/park/cruise packages.
We prefer Park Port Canaveral because it is less than a mile to the port, the lot is fenced and paved, you get to keep your keys and the shuttles are nice. My husband didn’t like Park N Go because they keep your keys, pack vehicles in there like sardines and are constantly moving them around.
Completely agree! We tried off-site parking once in Miami and despite the horrible prices for parking at the cruise port we will never do off-site again - it was a nightmare from when we dropped off our vehicle and waited in line for the shuttle to the cruise port to waiting for the shuttle upon disembarkation - we ended up taking a cab to our vehicle as opposed to waiting for the shuttle.
it is literally right next door to the Radisson, so about a mile from the port. Has paved parking and shuttles that pick you up and they will be there waiting when you get off the ship. We have used them several times when we stayed at the Radisson and had good experiences every time.
You can pay for parking at Port Canaveral Terminal 3 (Mardi Gras) contactless using E-Pass. https://www ...
First, Park N Cruise is located on Merritt Island and offer fenced parking, not all paved and can be crowded as more and more cruisers discover the location. Still getting good over all reviews as reliable. Cost 6.99 per day + 6% tax. Second, Park Port Canaveral located at the Radisson complex, has a large unfenced paved parking area. Cost 5.95 ...
My "go-to" hotel for cruising out of Port Canaveral, is always the Radisson at the Port. It offers shuttle service and the option of breakfast in the am. Their shuttle service is quick and efficient and is always waiting for you at the end of a cruise. We enjoy the "pre-cruise" atmosphere with the Tiki bar and pool with water fall.
