If you've never logged in you can setup the login on the DirecTV website with information beyond your account number. You can pay there as well. If you pay over the phone with the voice system or online it posts same day. By any other 3rd party method (bank's bill pay, MoneyGram, etc.) it can take up to 3 business days to post.

Pay TV doesn't automatically mean no commercials. If you want free access, then plug in a regular antenna. Pay TV is for all the channels you cannot get by antenna. Sure we are all sick of greed. But companies are selling a service to make a profit, not give you free TV or required to do so within your desired budget.

A week later we were notified we owed Directv $189 for canceling our service early. So basically at least one, if not two of their agents LIED to us to keep us as customers. I've since spoken to the billing department and they told me there was nothing they could due and we had to pay.
AT&T took Direct TV and dismantled it in one year (from the best to the worst -just horrible customer service), while at the SAME TIME they started charging $1000 for new phones AND then violated A BASIC ETHICAL STANDARD of BILLING by adding an additional $1.99 “UNDEFINED“, RANDOM CHARGE PER MONTH PER LINE.
