Sandwich is a town in Carroll County, New Hampshire, United States. Its population was 1,466 at the 2020 census. [2] Sandwich includes the villages of Center Sandwich and North Sandwich. Part of the White Mountain National Forest is in the north, and part of Squam Lake is in the southwestern corner of the town.
It extends along Doyle Avenue from North Main Street in the west to Proctor Place (just short of Hope Avenue). This area was developed residentially between 1860 and 1920, with an architecturally diverse collection of houses (single and multi-unit dwellings), generally set on small lots with only modest setback from the sidewalk.
