Chrysostomos Kalafatis (Greek: ΧρυσÏŒστομος Καλαφάτης; 8 January 1867 – 10 September 1922), also known as Saint Chrysostomos of Smyrna, [1] Chrysostomos of Smyrna and Metropolitan Chrysostom, was the Greek Orthodox metropolitan bishop of Smyrna between 1910 and 1914, and again from 1919 until his death in 1922.

Father Chrysostomos was the pioneer, who laid the foundations, on which the superstructure of Orthodoxy in Congo was raised up.
