Xanathar's Guide is the best book for a player, not DM, to get after the PHB. Xanathers is probably the second best book after Players Handbook for DMs as well. Maybe the third after MM, but Xanathar's DEFINITELY before DMG. 1.

The spell Tasha's Mind Whip has some great art on page 115 from Eric Belisle. Eric has done some iconic pieces for 5e, including the PHB fighter art that appears on page 70 of the 5e PHB. And of course, it's hard to knock the covers for this book. Magali Villeneuve did the art for the standard cover, Wylie Beckert did the art for the alt-cover.
I see a lot of people commenting about DNDbeyond, but unless the content is locked behind a digital copy of Tasha's, DNDbeyond still doesn't show the expanded spell list for spells in the PHB that were added to classes, like Aid for Rangers or Enhance Ability for Wizards.

My guess is that WotC wanted to end their contract to make their own spell cards or get someone else to do it. So as soon as the contract does run out, then maybe we will get spell cards. Also, Tasha's doesn't have a lot of spells, so they might wait until there are several supplements they can add the new spells together. 4. Reply.
Tasha's Cauldron of Everything: Twilight Domain Cleric Review & Build. I'm playing one now. I plan to ignore the heavy armor/martial weapons aspect and focus on cantrips and offensive spells and buffs. I may take 2 levels of druid to pick up Stars Druid for all that it adds. Stars Druid and Twilight Cleric may be a crazy good combo.
