Woodbridge sits at an elevation of 43 feet (13 m). The 2010 United States census reported Woodbridge's population was 3,984. Founded in the 1850s, the town is listed as a California Historical Landmark. [4] Woodbridge is located on the northwest side of the city of Lodi, along the banks of the Mokelumne River.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 22.8 square miles (59 km 2), of which, 21.4 square miles (55 km 2) of it is land and 1.4 square miles (3.6 km 2) of it (6.22%) is water. West Sacramento, which lies in Yolo County, is separated from the city of Sacramento and Sacramento County by the Sacramento River.
At the same time, many new high-paying jobs moved into the area, in connection with the expansion of the University of California Davis Medical Center, located to the north of Oak Park; the revitalization of Broadway and Stockton Boulevard; and the expansion of the McGeorge School of Law campus.
Woodbridge is about 20 miles (32 km) from Washington, D.C. The 2010 census reconfigured Woodbridge so that the majority of its land area was redesignated Marumsco and Neabsco, Virginia. The southern border of Woodbridge was now Occoquan Road, with the area between Occoquan Road and Opitz Boulevard–Rippon Boulevard being part of Marumsco.
