Arctic is a 2018 survival drama film directed by Joe Penna and written by Penna and Ryan Morrison. The film is an international co-production between Iceland and the United States, and stars Mads Mikkelsen as a man stranded in the Arctic. The film premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, and was released in theatres on 1 February 2019.

83-42 was a rocky ice floe in the Arctic Ocean.It is also sometimes referred to as Eklipse 0, [1] or Schmitt’s Island, after its discoverer, Dennis Schmitt. [2] [3] It measures 35 by 15 metres (115 by 49 ft) and 4 metres (13 ft) in height, and lies 699.8 kilometres (434.8 mi) from the North Pole. [4]

Goodwin Island is one of the many uninhabited Canadian arctic islands in Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut. It is located at the confluence of Hudson Strait and the Labrador Sea. The island, a member of the Button Islands, is situated west-northwest of Lacy Island. It has a peak of 178 m (584 ft). [1]
The Island at the Top of the World is a 1974 American live-action lost world fantasy adventure film directed by Robert Stevenson and produced by Winston Hibler. It was released by Walt Disney Productions , distributed by Buena Vista Distribution and starring Donald Sinden and David Hartman .
The island is barren and icy throughout the winter months, but some tundra vegetation grows on it in the summer. Its length is 18.5 kilometres (11.5 miles) and its total area is 20 square kilometres (8 square miles). Compared to other Arctic islands it is flat and low-lying, with some swamps and small lakes and a long spit of land on its NE side.
